At last...

At last I get a bit of time to catch up with my posts and at last Whiskey has started exploring.

She seems to love it outside. After several short walks to and from the mat in the picture, eventually she stayed out all night. The other day, it was all night and all daytime. She has started to be more vocal too. She is meowing to be let in and meowing for food. She even pushed her way past the dog the other day. Sniffer just gave her a quick stern look.
I am not sure that Sniffer likes Whiskey being in the garden though. She barked like mad when she couldn't reach Whiskey behind some bushes and behind a Wendy house... Perhaps, she thought that the cat was lost...?!

The Invisible Wall

Sniffer is away but the cat won't play. She is far too comfortable! Here she is in the fitted wardrobe 'hairing' my clothes. Must remember to keep that door shut.

Whiskey is spending most of the day lying on my bed. Morning and evening she spends a bit of time coming downstairs to eat. However, she stops at the invisible wall. She refuses to come into the kitchen.
Time to move the food bowl me thinks!

Status Report 06/09/12

Sniffer and Whiskey are currently keeping their distance. However, now and again the cat decides to hide under the bed. This is ironic as the dog can reach and see Whiskey when she's there!

It's really frustrating when you can't get a good shot! This is Sniffer smelling the cat under the bed.
This is an interesting shot of Sniffer's back!
I am hoping to get the cat downstairs by putting her food there. She's scratched me a lot, a few times, while I have been taking her downstairs to make sure she eats. I've discovered that she loves exploring at night and gets everywhere. Does anyone know if cats are naturally nocturnal?
